The unsinkable legend. Boston Whaler builds one of the safest, most durable boats on the market. Hull construction is classic Whaler: a molded and bonded fiberglass hull and deck filled with foam that keeps it a float and stable even when swamped. The hull design is a moderate modified V-bottom with 14 degrees of dead rise at the transom and wave taming chines that extend to the U-shaped bow. It's a recipe for stability and comfort. This one-owner boat was ordered from the factory as a bare hull, and outfitted by the owner for fishing in the Pacific Northwest. The boat was re powered with new Yamaha engines with only 10 hours. Weighing in at up to 80 pounds lighter than its four stroke competitors, this 16-valve SOHC (Single Overhead Camshaft) midrange four stroke offers the greatest power-to-weight ratio in its class. The 8 Hp. trolling motor can be configured to steer with the main motor from the helm. Ample rod holder mounts are installed around the boat, and a custom made vertical rod holder provides storage for up to 6 rods, Vertical holders provide a place to store nets or boat hooks at the ready. The Lowrance HDS 5 Fishfinder, GPS Chartplotter with high resolution 5" display and 2 down-rigger mounts round out the fishing equipment. Forward under the bow seat is a fish box, or cooler that drains overboard. The little used Bimini top is in like-new condition and covers the helm area; keeping the occupants out of the weather. The galvanized trailer is equipped with new rollers and side guides to make trailering the boat a snap in wind or cross currents.
